The Rich man

The Rich man

Pastor, Minister, Prophet, Christian writer or Preacher  Challenge

Are you rich today? Has your congregation or Christian supporters grown and provided you with lots of money? Your talents are rewarded, so you can live in that big house, and drive that expensive car. Every day you’re out there doing Gods work. God has giving you a GIFT, and lucky you, NOW YOU TAKE THE PROFITS. You’ve been well paid for the Gift you got for free from God. I know that YOU are not like the Rich young Ruler as described in Mark 10. I know YOU know the scripture.  Therefore as a measure of your heart, lets follow the scripture, and do what God tells you to do. GIVE IT ALL AWAY and you know where your heart is. Write to me if you have done this and we share some bread together.

Invitation to:     Benny Hinn, Frederick K.C. Price, Creflo Dollar, Jan and Paul Crouch, K.A. Paul, Joyce Meyer, Paula And Randy White, Mike Murdock, Kenny Copeland, Rod Parsley and foremost Joel Osteen.

The Rich Young Ruler

Mark 10-17:31
17As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 18And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19“You know the commandments, ‘DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, Do not defraud, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.’” 20And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up.” 21Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.

23And Jesus, looking around, said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 26They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved?” 27Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

28Peter began to say to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You.” 29Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, 30but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life. 31“But many who are first will be last, and the last, first.”

  1. Elizabeth gage says:

AMEN, so many so called “christian prophets” treat the calling of being a Prophet like fortunetellers……….pay me first and then I will prophecy for you…….The Lord does not work like this……….. He gives words and prophecies in season when and as He will not on demand from all and sundry…. these prophets have already received their reward, I would rather wait to receive mine from The Lord. The thing that really scares me is the number of “christian” prophets who say they are psychic…… something wrong here, or you go to their web sites and see that they have links to channelers and tarots and palm readers…… there is a serious warning in

    Leviticus 10
1And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

2And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

3Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

For all those who present strange fire before the Lord and it is death

  2. GLY says:

Amen Elizabeth, we need to make a stand against false preachers who spend and spend Gods money for their personal pleasure. They have recieved their rewards on earth.

Hi, in response to your Christian Writer challenge post, I wanted to let you know my heart is breaking for today’s popular fiction (vampires, witches, demons) and we need Christian writers to stand up! I see a need for a forum on Long Island for other Christian writers to join together and write fiction that glorifies a risen Savior!

  4. GLY says:

You are so right, our childrens minds are under attack. We as Christians have to make choices. Stand up for Christ and be a voice, or…..be quiet and……………

  5. AJ Dias says:

I am a christian poet who has also written children’s books. I do not care about making a single cent off of my writing. I just want to get my work into the hands of others. I am interested in finding out about your group.

  6. GLY says:

We are GLY Religious store in Glen Cove. We opened our doors in June 3, 2002 as a ministry to help people. We sell religious goods, and with the profits, we were able to help people in need pay for the rent, electric bills and education. We believe that God provides for all our needs, which are shelter, food, heat and clothing. We do not believe in Rolls Royce, private jets and large personal expense accounts. Today’s economy is very challenging and we have not been able to help people. We know this ministry will bloom one day if this is in His will.

I would love to see and read a copy of your book. Please send us a copy.

  7. Bridgette says:

I don’t live in (or even near) Long Island, but I write (poetry & I’m currently working on my first novel). I am interested in finding a Christian group of writers to join. Is VA too far away?

  8. John says:

How do you know if God is talking to you? how does one know he is talking? Is it possible to feel like he is not there ? How does one know if you are on the right track or not?

  9. GLY says:

Yes, sometimes you feel that God is not there. It took me a long time to hear Him talk to me. I would not say that all people hear God the same way. Sometimes it is a feeling that confirms your thoughts and sometimes actually a voice in my head. I needed to learn to trust God first, and trust Him to direct my path. I still have to do the walking; I still have to keep my paperwork in order. God wants us to continue our journey. If we are able to be joyful in difficult times, we mastered Faith. It shows we rely on God and we surrendered to His will. Do what you need to do. God does not like people who give up. God loves believers who know God is their Father, and know that His purpose for your life will be done. Believe that this is always the right choice. Now God can speak to you, because you Trust Him. You will know that He speaks to you. Show Joy, Pray and Fast.
Repent of your sins, and sin no more. Ask Jesus to be your savior, and believe He died at the cross for all people, so we all can be forgiven. Fresh start, New Life, New Future. Trust God and surrender. God will speak to You and you will know.
